Spreadsheets and Test Animations- Coming Soon!
Over the last few weeks, I've been working on the spreadsheets for the book as well as the designs for the activities. I have completed them and revised them a few times. Now, this week is devoted to cleaning up my spreadsheets as well beginning to build some test scenes and do some rough animations. At the end of this week or the next week, I will be posting my work for the spreadsheets. :) So, I'm moving right along now. It's nearing the end of the semester and I'd say I've been making good progress.

Where am I now?
It is mid-semester and now, I am beginning the work on creating the final layouts of my spread sheet designs now that the story is finally ready to go. I did lots of drafts for my story and I finally have a final draft that my teachers like and I like it too. I will be creating those rough spreadsheets for wednesday. I imagine it will be a week of revisions and then I will be working on the final design spreadsheets and character designs. And then after that, the characters will have to be prepared to be animated and rigged. So, lots of work ahead but, after a few weeks, I will be moving into final design preparation. I am hoping to be ready to animate by the end of January or before that if possible. I've got a lot of work ahead but, it looks like it will be good. Please keep me in your thoughts as this project moves forward. I'm really excited! I am doing well in my class and I hope It will continue to go well.
Character Line-Up & Color Scheme Plans
A. Character Line-Up (Now I applogize for the image quality. For some reason the pictures look a bit pixelated. But, in the final outlook they will not look like that. )

Color Exploration:
I really liked the warm color palette. So, I went with that one. For the color scheme of the backgrounds and elements, it will be a split- complementary scheme for the pages. That way there is lots of style and the colors will work well together.

I-Book Page Example and Rough Spreadsheets
Here are some really rough renders of my exploration of my App style. Note: These were created before my story was finished. So, I have finished my story and now I am ready to go more in depth. I ended up creating five rough drafts for the children's story. I am very thankful for my brother, Lucas Esch, who helped me make this story wonderful. I can't reveal my story yet, but, I can tell you one thing, It's pretty good. :)

Character Sheets
A. Expression Sheets
Here are my expression sheets for the characters. All of the drawings are based on the Apple Commands that they will be each allowed to do. They are a lot similar to each other because they have the same commands but, each character is different.
B. Pose Sheets
Here are my pose sheets for my characters. I just got to know their body forms better.
Rough Character and Background Designs
Here is my exploration work before I fine tuned things. You can see the process that I went through to get to where I am now.
